M. Payment methods
Karin&Me does not collect, store, or have access to any payment data (e.g. credit / debit card details) related to your purchase. We may have access to limited personal data, such as your name, email address, and which products you purchased. Furthermore, we may use this data to contact you about your purchase, but only if you have given your consent to allow us to do so.
When you make a payment on www.karinundme.ch, your data is stored through WIX and one of the payment service providers such as PayPal or STRIPE (Data protection and Privacy Policies links provided below):
1. Use of Wix as payment method
WIX provides us with an online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell certain products and services to you. All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
2. Use of PayPal as payment method
If payment is made via the payment service provider "PayPal", the payment will be processed by PayPal (Europe) S.àr.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg, subject to the PayPal Terms of Use, available at www.paypal.com.
The personal information provided to PayPal is usually first name, last name, address, phone number, IP address, email address, or other information necessary to process your order, as well as information related to your order, such as number of items, item number, invoice amount and taxes in percent, billing information, etc. The transmission of this data is necessary for the processing of your order. N. Use of Social Media Plug-ins
