Hello 2020!

When I opened this website, I knew that I will (or at least, wanted to) have a blog with the online store. In my old life, I used to write everyday.

In 2019 (and 2018), I found myself caught in the whirlwind of motherhood and testing new grounds. This changed a lot for me. Suddenly, I can't seem to find time to do things I usually do! I think most of you with little ones and without extended family support can relate. You wake up in the morning will all these brilliant things in mind which you want to accomplish. By the end of the day, all you probably accomplished was making sure your little one is fed, happy and alive. Not saying that this feat should be belittled. Not at all. It is a feat!

While I am happy with my small family and new challenges that come my way, I also long for the old habit and hobbies I used to enjoy. Writing being one of them.

Write what exactly? I used to write legal text on international law topics. This is quite boring, I must admit. There was a time when I made my then fiancé read all my legal articles. He was bored but he continued to read. This signalled to me that I found "the one". I am not looking to torture anyone with my "treatise" -- I mean, will you really be interestes with the legality of the air strike made by this and this country or the humanitarian efforts done in this and that country?

While I love these topics, and while I may touch on them once in a while, I wanted to focus on one something that probably affects most of you out there.

I have always been fascinated with anything about life as a mother, a wife, a daughter, friend and an expat. After all, I am LIVING IT. Thats why I wish to devote this blog to all things about being a woman in the 21st century. I thought, we may all live in different countries, we may have different challenges but I am sure that we can learn from each other's experiences.

I hope that as I share my experiences to you, you get perspective that can help you deal with your own challenges.

Thats the plan for 2020 friends. I hope that I can stick to it. And if you are reading this blog today, I wish you all the blessings that the new year has to offer. Till next time, friends!
